Instead, Mrs. Matson, has found a great video series that tours the aquarium for you and your kids to enjoy. All of this information can also be found on class dojo and at mrsbaumsclass.weebly.com. This is optional, but it might be a fun activity to do a little bit everyday. Video Information (Brought to you by the lovely Mrs. Matson): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FC4tfWYf3vs&feature=youtu.be Link: https://thelivingplanet.com/scarletsadventure/ Just checking in with everyone today. The school is open to check out work packets and Chromebooks today, so please come down and grab what you need. Please keep in mind, distance learning is not optional, your child is expected to complete the assignments given, just like they would be if they were in class. I tried to make everything very accessible, but if you have any questions at all, please message me on class dojo or email me! To check in with you and your students I created a video, feel free to watch! Here is another video with information for parents on how to access the assignments for distance learning. Due to the earthquake this morning, Silver Hills Elementary will be closed. We want to ensure the safety of all parents and students! Today we were supposed to check out chromebooks to parents and students for them to begin their distance learning, instead we ask all parents to come tomorrow, March 19th, (pending, please make sure to check updates on Class Dojo and in email, for the most up-to-date information) to get all of the materials your student will need for the coming week. Please stay safe and have a great day! Contact me at [email protected] or on Class Dojo if you have any questions.
Update: (8:42 am) Breakfast will be cancelled this morning, however lunch is still planned to be given out at the front of the school. Update: (9:45 am) All Granite School operations will cease for the day. Breakfast, lunch, and chromebook check-outs should resume tomorrow (3/19/2020). Parents, please remember that tomorrow is when your students will begin distance learning. For the most up-to-date information, please make sure you are checking your emails, class dojo, and the graniteschools.org website. To avoid having a lot of work to do all in one day, please try to keep pace with what has been set up for your student to accomplish each day. As this is a new experience for all of us, PLEASE do not hesitate to contact me. The easiest way to get in touch with me is through class dojo, or through email: [email protected]. If you are not already on class dojo, I highly recommend that you do so now. I will be messaging and emailing parents about their student's progress throughout the coming weeks. If you did not receive an email/message from me yesterday, please reach out so that I can get you all of the information that you need. Thank you!
